As our global and local communities work together to navigate the uncharted territory of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s critical that we communicate and support each other now, more than ever.
Crystal Group’s top priority is ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our employees, families, communities, customers and suppliers. We have taken proactive and prudent steps to significantly reduce the risk of exposure in our facilities. This includes placing strict limits on external visitors, equipping office employees to work from home and facilitating meetings and customer visits via phone and video conferences. Following the guidance of the CDC, we have also halted all non-essential travel and implemented 14-day self-quarantine requirements for employees following recent travel or potential exposure.
While many businesses are opting or being directed to close or significantly limit their onsite operations, Crystal Group is designated as a critical supplier of the U.S. Department of Defense and essential infrastructure systems. As part of the Defense Industrial Base, we remain open and fully operational to ensure and support our nation’s security.
Given our responsibility to deliver mission-critical technologies and services while ensuring a safe environment for our employees, we have also split our factory operations into two shifts to enable social distancing on the production floor while maintaining our production schedules. As we continue to build and ship product, we’re staying in close communication with our supply chain to assess the potential for any shortages, extended lead times or changes to delivery schedules. At this time, we anticipate very limited impacts to our customers. If any changes occur that could potentially delay product deliveries, we will notify you immediately.
Likewise, if your programs are being impacted by shelter-in-place requirements or government- mandated business closures, please let us know. We will certainly do what we can to help.
Clearly this is a very fluid situation for all of us. We will continue to monitor, adapt to and communicate changes as they evolve to ensure our entire Crystal Group family of employees, customers and suppliers stays informed, aligned, and – most importantly – safe.
